Having worked for HDSF up until 2 years ago, I was so pleased to come back to become the charity’s Chief Operating Officer.
My time away from HDSF was really interesting (working in a bookshop was my childhood dream) but I’ve realised that my home is in ‘not for profit’ and specifically HDSF, where I can see the difference we make to individuals, families and other teams who work with them. I bring experience of working in HR, training, policy, volunteering on not for profit boards, a focus on systems and processes – and all my previous experience of working for HDSF. It’s lovely to be back in the HDSF Team.
Outside of work I like to walk with friends, meet up for weekends away (a real blessing after the pandemic) and sing with a local choir (and sometimes at the Albert Hall!).
