Abbie is a volunteer with HDSF
Abbie started out as a participant on our adapted cycling sessions at Stanborough Park, and quickly tried out many more activities.
Abbie very quickly showed her desire to want to do more than just take part and soon decided to help raise money for HDSF. One Autumn, Abbie spent days making gift tags to sell at Christmas fetes.
This was only the start, Abbie is now a volunteers with the team, not just on sessions but also on projects behind the scenes. Her wealth of knowledge and personal experience has given a different perspective to the team which is priceless when planning and developing new ideas!
